Thank you for writing this. I just ended a relationship with a narcissist and am still finding my way to understanding what happened but your article describes everything to a T. One of the last things he said to me was that I was an empath so my “feelings get in the way of everything”. I didn’t know what he meant by that at the time because I’m human and humans have feelings but now I think that was his fear that my intuition had always been right and I was getting fed up with his gaslighting and excuses. I’ll still never understand how people can knowingly hurt other people and that this person I thought I knew was so evil and hurtful. This helps though so thank you.
